Of course, if you don’t use Ableton, it’ll automatically map to other major music software too.
The Launchkey Mini was designed to make it easy and fun to produce music in Ableton Live. All the controls work as soon as you plug it in, and they're arranged in the layout we think works best.
We put 16 pads along the top, which you can use to launch clips and play beats. They light up to show you when clips are loaded, playing and recording and we laid them out to match your Ableton Live session view; one row to launch clips, and one row to stop them.
You can also easily tweak your instruments using eight high-quality knobs, and sketch out ideas on a 25-note mini keyboard with a fast synth-style action that makes it really nice to play.
If you use Ableton Live, you need a Launchpad. Its 8 x 8 grid has become ubiquitous with the evolution of electronic music, letting you launch clips, play drum racks and control your mixer, all while creating impressive lightshows.
Nektar products are synonymous with DAW integration on Mac and Windows and the Impact GX49 is no exception. Circuit Mono Station is a scheming, manipulative little beast of a machine, with a deafening roar to be tamed. It’s infectious to use, quick to engage with and capable of some unpredictable and rather dangerous results.
